More Holiday Gifts

Beautiful Jackets!

I found the most beautiful foiled butterfly fabric, perfect for little girl garments. I considered robes, but found there wasn't enough fabric. Instead, I made 'bomber-style' jackets, with hand-crafted elastic bottom, cuffs and collar. I think that they turned out beautifully! Made four different little girl jackets and a matching jacket for Grammy.

Other Projects That are 'In hand'

Just because I'm not posting here, doesn't mean I'm not sewing. I have multiple Christmas presents going, and hope to have them all finished, in time! These are just two sets of the multiple projects I have set myself to finish!

The custom tailored shirts are going to be a long and difficult path to trod. The pin striped fabric from JoAnn's is set horizontally rather than vertically from the bolt, turning and refolding the correct direction leaves me with less than I need to finish these shirts...

There will be five of this project, in multiple sizes, when I am done!

I have three of these custom tailored shirts to finish, too.

Panels to hang for the Holidays

Table Wreaths and Mug Rugs

This year, for Christmas, I decided I would make a bunch of 'Table Wreaths'. With a small vase, jar or candle in the center, these make great holiday decorations! I saw these while looking for something else, and figured out how to make it, pretty easily. I will put limited directions for how I made these in my 'how-to'. There's a pattern for sale by someone else, somewhere, I am told.
